INGREDIENTS
½ cup rolled oats
1 cup milk (low-fat dairy or plant
based)
½ cup water
1 teaspoon jaggery powder or
honey (optional)
¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
(optional)
Chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
STEPS
Add oats and water to a saucepan and cook over a medium flame. Stir occasionally until the oats
turn soft. Add milk and continue cooking for 2–3 minutes. Add jaggery or honey and cardamom powder if using. Mix well and cook until desired. Consistency is reached. Switch off the heat and serve warm. Top with nuts or seeds if desired.
