1 cup besan (gram flour)
2 tablespoons whole wheat
flour (optional for texture)
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Water as needed
1 teaspoon oil (for cooking)
STEPS
In a bowl, mix besan, wheat flour, turmeric, cumin seeds, and salt. Gradually add water and knead
into a soft dough. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle. Heat a non-stick tawa and cook the rolled dough on a low flame. Flip and roast both sides until crisp and golden brown, applying minimal oil if needed. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Serve as a healthy snack with tea or curd.
