BESAN CHILLA

INGREDIENTS
1 cup besan (gram flour)
1 small onion, finely chopped
(optional)
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 green chi li, finely chopped
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon cumin powder
Salt to taste
Water as needed
1 teaspoon oil (for cooking)
Fresh coriander leaves

STEPS

In a bowl, add besan, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt. Add water gradually and whisk to make a smooth, lump-free batter. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, and coriander. Mix Well. Heat a non-stick tawa and lightly grease it. Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a round chila. Cook on medium flame until the base turns golden. Flip and cook the other side using minimal oil. Serve hot with green chutney or curd.
