INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole wheat flour
½ cup paneer, grated (preferably
low-fat)
1 small onion, finely chopped
(optional)
½ teaspoon cumin powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
Water as needed
1 teaspoon oil (for cooking)
Fresh coriander leaves (optional)
STEPS
In a bowl, mix grated paneer, onion, cumin powder, black pepper, salt, and coriander. Prepare a soft dough using whole wheat flour and water. Rest for 10 minutes. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into small balls. Flatten one ball, place the paneer mixture in the center, and seal it properly.
Roll gently into a parantha using light pressure. Heat a tawa and cook the parantha on a medium flame. Apply minimal oil and cook until golden brown on both sides. Serve warm with curd or mint chutney.
